When the stars, and the moon And the sky, fall through I'd throw them all away when I'm hollow Deep as the sea goes, all I know is I would throw it all away... away In my restless hour I'm holding I dream of buildings that burn The sky turns black I toss and turn When the stars, and the moon And the sky, fall through I'd throw them all away when I'm hollow Deep as the sea goes, all I know is I would throw it all away... away This love branches out like an oak tree Reach for the sky and roots to the sea So when you're shaken down and broken Find some peace of mind in knowing I'd throw them all away when I'm hollow Deep as the sea goes, all I know is I would throw it all away... away |
Untimely
in a land unknown
at a time yet not arrived.
Thus, I was born
within the forest of beast and rock.
My heart
in void
started beating.
I abandoned the cradle of reiteration
in a land with no bird, no spring.
My first journey was a return
from the hope-abrading vistas of thorn and sand,
without having gone far
on the inexperienced feet of the fledgeling that was I.
My first journey
was a return.
The vast distance
taught no hope.
Trembling,
I stood on the feet of the novice that was I
facing the horizon ablaze.
I realized that there was no tidings
for in between stood a mirage.
The vast distance taught no hope.
I learnt that there was no tidings:
This boundless
was a prison so huge
that the soul
hid in tears
from shame of impotence.

I celebrate myself, and sing myself,
And what I assume you shall assume,
For every atom belonging to me as good belongs to you.
I loafe and invite my soul,
I lean and loafe at my ease observing a spear of summer grass.
My tongue, every atom of my blood, form'd from this soil, this air,
Born here of parents born here from parents the same, and their parents the same,
I, now thirty-seven years old in perfect health begin,
Hoping to cease not till death.
Creeds and schools in abeyance,
Retiring back a while sufficed at what they are, but never forgotten,
I harbor for good or bad, I permit to speak at every hazard,
Nature without check with original energy
We have, the chance to turn the pages over
We can write what we want to write
We gotta make ends meet
Before we get much older
Oh, we're all someone's daughter
We're all someone's son
How long can we look at each other
Down the barrel of a gun?
You're the voice try and understand it
Make a noise and make it clear
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh-oh-oh
We're not gonna sit in silence
We're not gonna live with fear
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh-oh-oh
This time, you know that
We can all stand together
With the power to be powerful
Believing that we can make this better
Oh, we're all someone's daughter
We're all someone's son
How long can we look at each other
Oh, Down the barrel of a gun? oh
You're the voice try and understand it
Make a noise and make it clear
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh-oh-oh
We're not gonna sit in silence
We're not gonna live with fear
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh-oh-oh
Oh, we're all someone's daughter
We're all someone's son
How long can we look at each other
Down the barrel of a gun?
You're the voice try and understand it
Make a noise and make it clear
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh-oh-oh
We're not gonna sit in silence
We're not gonna live with fear
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh-oh-oh
You're the voice try and understand it
(Make a noise and make it clear)
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh-oh-oh
We're not gonna sit in silence
We're not gonna live with fear

You, do you remember me
Like I remember you?
Do you spend your life
Going back in your mind to that time?
'Cause I, I walk the streets alone
I hate bein' on my own
And everyone can see that I really fell
And I'm going through hell
Thinking about you with somebody else
Somebody wants you
Somebody needs you
Somebody dreams about you
every single night
Somebody can't breath
without you, it's lonely
Somebody hopes that one day you will see
That Somebody's Me
How, how could we go wrong?
It was so good and now it's gone
And I pray at night that our
paths soon will cross
And what we had isn't lost
Cause you're always right
here in my thoughts
Somebody wants you
Somebody needs you
Somebody dreams about you
every single night
Somebody can't breath
without you, it's lonely
Somebody hopes that someday you will see
That Somebody's Me
Ohh ya
You'll always be in my life
Even if I'm not in your life
Because you're in my memory
You,when you remember me
And before you set me free
Oh listen please
Somebody wants you
Somebody needs you
Somebody dreams about you
every single night
Somebody can't breath
without you, it's lonely
Somebody hopes that someday you will see
That Somebody's Me
In the leaden backdrop of the dawn
the horseman stands in silence
the long mane of his horse
disheveled by the wind.
O, Lord ! O, Lord!
Horseman are not to stand still,
when the event is brewing.
Beside the burnt hedge
the girl stands in silence
her delicate skirt
waving in the wind.
O, Lord! O, Lord!
Girls should not to remain silent,
when weary and hopeless
men grow old.

Your lips, delicate as poetry,
turn the most voluptuous kiss
into such a coyness
that the cave animal uses it
to become human.
And your cheeks, with two oblique lines,
that lead your pride
and my destiny
I who have endured the night
without being armed
in anticipation of the dawn
and have brought back
a proud virginity,
sealed
from the brothels of barter.
(Never did a man so ruinously rise
to kill himself
as I settled the task of living)
And your eyes are the secret of fire
and your love
is the victory of man
when he rushes to battle against his fate.
And your bosom
a tiny place to live
a tiny place to die
and an escape
from the city
that accuses the purity of the sky
shamelessly with a thousand fingers.
A mountain begins with its first rocks
and man with the first pain
in me, there was a cruel prisoner
not used to the clanking of his chains
I began with your first glance.
Tempests play magnificently
a tiny flute
in your grand dance.
And the singing of your veins
makes the sun of the always rise.
(Let me rise from sleep so
that all the lanes of the city
perceive my presence.)
Your hands are reconciliation
and friends helping that hostilities
may be forgotten.
Your forehead is a tall mirror
luminous and high
in which the Seven Sisters stare
to realize their beauty.
Two restless birds sing on your chest
from which direction will the summer arrive
so thirst will make
all the waters
even wholesomer?
That you may appear in the mirror
a life-long I kept
staring at it
all the lakes and the seas
I wept.
O Fairy in human form
whose body would not burn
except in the fire of illusion
your presence is a paradise
justifying escape from hell
it is an ocean overwhelming me
to wash me clean
of every lie
and of every sin.
And the dawn awakens by your hands

Every year
one day is special
you meet with family
for a great celebration
a birthday to enjoy
turning one year older
but on some occasions
it may not be so pretty
people have bashes
people have parties
but i know most people
just celebrate with family
It's one night a year
there could be no fighting
everyone full of cheer
and it's delighting
I love these days
cause they are the times
my family is right
we have cake and ice cream
and sometimes a party
but as we get older
these days will be priceless.
Happy my birthday
Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness,
Close bosom-friend of the maturing sun;
Conspiring with him how to load and bless
With fruit the vines that round the thatch-eves run;
To bend with apples the moss'd cottage-trees,
And fill all fruit with ripeness to the core;
To swell the gourd, and plump the hazel shells
With a sweet kernel; to set budding more,
And still more, later flowers for the bees,
Until they think warm days will never cease,
For Summer has o'er-brimm'd their clammy cells

Here is your crown
And your seal and rings;
And here is your love
For all things.
Here is your cart,
And your cardboard and piss;
And here is your love
For all of this.
May everyone live,
And may everyone die.
Hello, my love,
And my love, Goodbye.
Here is your wine,
And your drunken fall;
And here is your love.
Your love for it all.
Here is your sickness.
Your bed and your pan;
And here is your love
For the woman, the man.
May everyone live,
And may everyone die.
Hello, my love,
And, my love, Goodbye.
And here is the night,
The night has begun;
And here is your death
In the heart of your son.
And here is the dawn,
(Until death do us part);
And here is your death,
In your daughter’s heart.
May everyone live,
And may everyone die.
Hello, my love,
And, my love, Goodbye.
And here you are hurried,
And here you are gone;
And here is the love,
That it’s all built upon.
Here is your cross,
Your nails and your hill;
And here is your love,
That lists where it will
May everyone live,
And may everyone die.
Hello, my love,
And my love, Goodbye.
